Miranda Lambert Covers 'Fooled Around And Fell In Love' With Tourmates

Miranda Lambert is gearing up to kick off her "Roadside Bars & Pink Guitars Tour" beginning on Friday September 13. In honor of the upcoming trek across the country, Lambert and fellow tour mates came together for a collaboration, "Fooled Around and Fell In Love."

The new collaboration includes country star, Maren Morris, Elle King, Tenille Townes, Ashley McBryde and Caylee Hammack, all of who are opening guests on the all-female tour. The ladies' new song is a cover of a mid-1970s song written and released by Elvin Bishop. Since it's initial release, many country stars have covered their own version as well, but none as uniquely as these six women.

"I'm so excited and honored to be on tour with some of my favorite artists, who each inspire me in a different way," Lambert shares. "Maren Morris is a fiery fellow Texas girl that isn't afraid to take a risk and be who she is. Elle King is a brave, confident and unapologetic artist who is honest about her life and uses it for her art. My fellow Pistol Annies are not only some of my best friends and writing partners, but also make me want to be a better artist every time we take the stage together."

"Tenille, Ashley and Caylee are all women who have something to say and they do it their own way. They are the next generation of fearless female artists and I'm so thrilled to share a stage with them."

In addition to the upcoming tour, Lambert also is set to release her new album, Wildcard, on November 1.
