LaVar Arrington: âIt seems like Jared Goff is always on the wrong side of history. He went from being on the would-be Super Bowl Champion Los Angeles Rams, to being on the wrong side with the Detroit Lions. However, even though the Lions have the 2nd overall pick and a chance to replace him by potentially drafting Malik Willis, Goff says he isnât concerned about being replaced, and I agree with him. I donât think the Lions are bad because of Jared Goff. He proved heâs a worthy QB in LA. The Lions are bad because they are dysfunctional.â
TJ Houshmandzadeh: âStafford has always been one of the best QBs in the league, he just wasnât winning. It just goes to show you that when youâre with an organization that is so bad top to bottom, you donât realize it when youâre playing. You realize it after youâre gone. Detroit has been bad for a long time, theyâve changed coaches, cycled players, and itâs still not changing. So obviously itâs not the coach and player, the problems are at the top.â
LaVar Arrington, TJ Houshmandzadeh, and Plaxico Burress discuss QB Jared Goff reassuring that heâs not concerned about the Lions drafting his potential replacement. The Lions hold the 2nd overall pick in this yearâs draft, and some scouts are saying the team could draft Liberty QB Malik Willis, or another top QB prospect. The guys believe that Jared Goff is not the main issue in Detroit, because the team has been terrible for such an extended period of time. Listen to the full segment, and hear their takes!
