Friday and Saturday are two of the most difficult days on the NFL calendar.

After a long training camp, the Denver Broncos have begun the process of getting their roster down to the 53-player limit for the regular season opener against the Oakland Raiders on Monday, September 9.

All NFL teams must be at a 53-player roster by 2 p.m. MDT on Saturday, August 31.

On Friday, August 30, the Broncos traded a 2020 sixth-round draft pick to the New England Patriots for cornerback Duke Dawson and the Patriots seventh-round selection in 2020.

In addition, the Broncos have started making cuts in order to pare the roster down.

According to multiple sources, including 9News Broncos Insider Mike Klis, KOA Broncos Insider Brandon Krisztal, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, Adam Schefter of ESPN and other sources, the Broncos have reportedly released the following players:

S Su'a Cravens

G Don Barclay

OL Adam Bisnowaty

OL Jake Brendel

CB Rashard Causey

WR Brendan Langley

RB David Williams

WR Steven Dunbar Jr.

OT Chaz Green

CB Linden Stephens

In addition, the Raiders have waived former Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall.
