Skipping OTA’s Is a Bad Idea

A number of NFL teams’ players are opting out of in-person voluntary offseason team activities citing COVID-19 concerns but Doug Gottlieb thinks it’s a losing proposition. The players don’t really have a leg to stand on because they’ve already signed the current CBA and there is nothing that can be done about it. Besides, shouldn’t the players be itching to get some work in at their team facilities after being gone for more than a year? It’s not like there is less chance to get COVID at your local gym; it’s probably more.
